The Crystal Springs Uplands Gryphons (Hillsborough, CA) football defeated the host Pinewood Panthers (Los Altos Hills, CA), 48-26 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Gryphons face the Priory Panthers (Portola Valley, CA) in a Pacific Coast (8 Man) bout, on Friday, October 21. Crystal Springs Uplands will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 3-2 record after their 36-22 non-league loss to Fresno Christian (Fresno, CA).
