The Wayne Eagles football team (Ontario Center, NY), was beaten 23-15 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Dansville/Wayland-Cohocton (Dansville, NY)
The (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Honeoye Falls-Lima (Honeoye Falls, NY). The Cougars come into the Section 5 B challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Honeoye Falls-Lima was beaten by Batavia (Batavia, NY), 35-20, in a league challenge.
The Eagles now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Livonia for a Section 5 B challenge on Friday, October 21. Wayne will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 40-8 league win over Palmyra-Macedon (Palmyra, NY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-4.
