The River Rouge Panthers football team (River Rouge, MI), was tipped 19-18 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting De La Salle Collegiate Pilots (Warren, MI)

The Pilots (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against University of Detroit Jesuit (Detroit, MI). The Cubs come into the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, University of Detroit Jesuit nipped Pinckney (Pinckney, MI), 38-0, in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southfield Arts & Tech for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 21. River Rouge will meet a Warriors team coming off a 42-21 non-league loss to West Bloomfield (West Bloomfield, MI). The Warriors record now stands at 6-2.
