The Redfield Pheasants football team (Redfield, SD), was beaten 26-13 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Deuel Cardinals (Clear Lake, SD)

The Cardinals (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against More (Rapid City, SD). The Cavaliers come into the non-league challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, More was beaten by Dell Rapids (Dell Rapids, SD), 42-19, in a non-league outing.

With the loss, Redfield moves to 5-3 on the season. The Pheasants travel to Woonsocket/Wessington Springs/Sanborn Central (Woonsocket, SD) to confront the Blackhawks in a non-league outing on Thursday, October 20. The Blackhawks go into the outing with a record of 6-2. Woonsocket/Wessington Springs/Sanborn Central won 14-6 in their recent non-league outing against Rapid City Christian (Rapid City, SD)
