The Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC) football routed the host Rosman Tigers (Rosman, NC), 63-8 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the Mountain Heritage Cougars (Burnsville, NC) in a 1A/2A West Conference 42 bout, on Friday, October 28. Draughn will attempt to advance on its 8-1 season record.

The Tigers (0-9) will now prepare for their bout against Mitchell (Bakersville, NC). The Mountaineers enter the 1A/2A West Conference 42 bout with a 5-3 record. In their last bout, Mitchell walloped Mountain Heritage (Burnsville, NC), 35-14, in a league game.
