The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Elizabethtown Panthers (Elizabethtown, KY) and the visiting Russell County Lakers (Russell Springs, KY), observed Elizabethtown's football squad bounce Russell County by a count of 54-7.
The Panthers now own a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Larue County for a 3A District 3 contest on Friday, October 21. Elizabethtown will play a Hawks squad coming off a 37-34 league loss to Nelson County (Bardstown, KY). The Hawks record now stands at 3-5.
