In Friday's non-league game, the Fort Hill Sentinels (Cumberland, MD) football team smashed the visiting Smithsburg Leopards (Smithsburg, MD), by a final score of 52-0.

The Sentinels (6-1) will now prepare for their game against New Oxford (New Oxford, PA). The Colonials come into the non-league game with a 7-1 record. In their last game, New Oxford overwhelmed West York Area (York, PA), 35-8, in a league game.

The Leopards now hold a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Southern for a non-league game on Thursday, October 20. Smithsburg will battle a Rams team coming off a 56-27 non-league loss to Tucker County (Hambleton, WV). The Rams record now stands at 1-6.
