Maryland High School Football - Friendly drops to Largo

October 14, 2022: Upper Marlboro, MD 20774

In Friday's league game, the Largo Lions (Upper Marlboro, MD) football team knocked off the visiting Friendly Patriots (Fort Washington, MD), by a final score of 26-0.

The Lions (6-1) will now prepare for their game against Potomac (Oxon Hill, MD). The Wolverines come into the Prince George's County 2A/1A game with a 6-1 record. In their last game, Potomac toppled Douglass (Upper Marlboro, MD), 12-7, in a league game.

The Patriots now hold a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host KIPP College Prep for a non-league game on Saturday, October 22. Friendly will battle a Panthers team coming off a 44-6 league win over Richard Wright Public Charter School (Washington, DC). The Panthers record now stands at 6-2.
