The Monroe Central Seminoles (Woodsfield, OH) football edged the host Frontier Cougars (New Matamoras, OH), 36-29 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Seminoles face the Shadyside Tigers (Shadyside, OH) in a non-league bout, on Friday, October 21. Monroe Central will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 2-7 record after their 40-26 league win over Bridgeport (Bridgeport, OH).
