The Garden City Cougars (Garden City, MI) football nudged the host Robichaud Bulldogs (Dearborn Heights, MI), 34-28 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Pontiac Phoenix (Pontiac, MI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, October 22. Garden City will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Phoenix enter the bout with a 0-8 record after their 62-6 league loss to Ferndale (Ferndale, MI).
The Bulldogs (2-6) will now prepare for their bout against Airport (Carleton, MI). The Jets enter the non-league bout with a 6-2 record. In their last bout, Airport held off Milan (Milan, MI), 34-21, in a league bout.
