Georgia High School Football - Pickens victorious over Gilmer

October 14, 2022: Jasper, GA 30143

The Pickens Dragons (Jasper, GA) football overcame the visiting Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA), 27-10 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Dragons face the West Hall Spartans (Oakwood, GA) in a AAA Region 7 bout, on Friday, October 21. Pickens will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Spartans enter the bout with a 1-6 record after their 56-14 league loss to White County (Cleveland, GA).

The Bobcats (5-3) will now prepare for their bout against Dawson County (Dawsonville, GA). The Tigers enter the AAA Region 7 bout with a 6-2 record. In their last bout, Dawson County thwarted Wesleyan (Norcross, GA), 31-24, in a league bout.
