The Pelham Panthers football team (Pelham, AL), was beaten 28-0 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Homewood Patriots (Homewood, AL)

The Patriots (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Briarwood Christian (Birmingham, AL). The Lions come into the 6A Region 3 challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Briarwood Christian was beaten by Benjamin Russell (Alexander City, AL), 16-14, in a league challenge.

The Panthers now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chilton County for a 6A Region 3 challenge on Friday, October 21. Pelham will meet a Tigers team coming off a 31-10 league loss to Homewood (Homewood, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 3-5.
