The Huss Huskies held off the host North Gaston Wildcats football team by a count of 22-15 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Huss upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Huskies host Crest (Shelby, NC) to encounter the Chargers in a 3A West Conference 50 outing on Friday, October 21. The Chargers go into the outing with a record of 6-2. Crest won 51-7 in their recent league outing against Forestview (Gastonia, NC)

With the loss, North Gaston moves to 0-8 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC) to encounter the Storm in a 3A West Conference 50 outing on Friday, October 21. The Storm go into the outing with a record of 3-5. Stuart W. Cramer lost 63-24 in their recent league outing against Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC)
