The Sand Rock Wildcats (Leesburg, AL) football defeated the host Ider Hornets (Ider, AL), 34-20 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the Whitesburg Christian Academy Warriors (Huntsville, AL) in a 2A Region 7 bout, on Friday, October 21. Sand Rock will attempt to advance on its 3-6 season record. The Warriors enter the bout with a 4-4 record after their 44-42 league loss to Collinsville (Collinsville, AL).
