The Patriots (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Chalmette (Chalmette, LA). The Owls come into the 5A District 8 challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Chalmette nipped Grace King (Metairie, LA), 40-18, in a league challenge.

The Buccaneers now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Jefferson for a 5A District 8 challenge on Thursday, October 20. West Jefferson will meet a Warriors team coming off a 29-26 league loss to Bonnabel (Kenner, LA). The Warriors record now stands at 3-3.
