The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Johnson Crusaders (Clark, NJ) and the visiting Spotswood Chargers (Spotswood, NJ), observed Johnson's football squad bounce Spotswood by a count of 44-0.

The Crusaders now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to South River for a non-league contest on Saturday, October 22. Johnson will play a Rams squad coming off a 17-7 non-league loss to Governor Livingston (Berkeley Heights, NJ). The Rams record now stands at 2-5.

Coming up next, the Chargers play the J.P. Stevens Hawks (Edison, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 21. Spotswood will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Hawks go into the contest with a 1-7 record after their 21-12 non-league loss to Metuchen (Metuchen, NJ).
