The McDonough Rams football team (Pomfret, MD), was ripped 42-6 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD)
The Chargers (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD). The Raiders come into the non-league challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Leonardtown trounced Great Mills (Great Mills, MD), 28-0, in a league challenge.
The Rams now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Patuxent for a Southern Maryland - Potomac challenge on Friday, October 21. McDonough will meet a Panthers team coming off a 28-14 league loss to Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD). The Panthers record now stands at 5-2.
