The Santa Rosa Lions walloped the visiting Laguna Acoma Hawks football team by a count of 50-0 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Santa Rosa upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Lions host Escalante (Tierra Amarilla, NM) to confront the Lobos in a 2A District 1/2/5 outing on Friday, October 21. The Lobos go into the outing with a record of 5-4. Escalante won 50-0 in their recent league outing against McCurdy (Espanola, NM)

With the loss, Laguna Acoma moves to 3-6 on the season. The Hawks host McCurdy (Espanola, NM) to confront the Bobcats in a 2A District 1/2/5 outing on Friday, October 21. The Bobcats go into the outing with a record of 3-6. McCurdy lost 50-0 in their recent league outing against Escalante (Tierra Amarilla, NM)
