The Toll Gate Titans football team (Warwick, RI), was beaten 27-13 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Middletown Islanders (Middletown, RI)
The Islanders (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln (Lincoln, RI). The Lions come into the Division III-A challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Lincoln was beaten by Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI), 7-6, in a league challenge.
The Titans now sport a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tolman for a Division III-A challenge on Friday, October 21. Toll Gate will meet a Tigers team coming off a 35-7 league loss to Classical (Providence, RI). The Tigers record now stands at 2-4.
