The Ropes Eagles football team scored 38 points and held the visiting Morton Indians to 0 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Seagraves (Seagraves, TX). The Eagles come into the 2A-2 Region I District 4 challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Seagraves trounced Plains (Plains, TX), 45-36, in a league challenge.

The Indians now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Smyer for a 2A-2 Region I District 4 challenge on Friday, October 21. Morton will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 70-8 league loss to New Home (New Home, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-6.
