The Cardinals (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Phillipsburg (Phillipsburg, KS). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Phillipsburg was ripped by Russell (Russell, KS), 7-0, in a league challenge.

The Trojans now sport a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oakley for a Mid-Continent challenge on Friday, October 21. Stanton County will meet a Plainsmen team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Syracuse (Syracuse, KS). The Plainsmen record now stands at 4-3.
