The Sharkey Issaquena Academy Confederates football team (Rolling Fork, MS), was beaten 34-18 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Union Christian Academy Lions (Farmerville, LA)
The Lions (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Prairie View Academy (Bastrop, LA). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Prairie View Academy was beaten by Lee Academy (Marianna, AR), 36-6, in a non-league challenge.
The Confederates now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tensas Academy for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 21. Sharkey Issaquena Academy will meet a Chiefs team coming off a 58-24 league win over Franklin Academy (Winnsboro, LA). The Chiefs record now stands at 7-1.
