In Friday's league game, the West Greene Buffaloes (Mosheim, TN) football team tipped the visiting Unicoi County Blue Devils (Erwin, TN), by a final score of 24-23.
The Buffaloes (8-1) will now prepare for their game against Chuckey-Doak (Afton, TN). The Black Knights come into the 3A Region 1 game with a 7-1 record.
The Blue Devils now hold a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Johnson County for a 3A Region 1 game on Friday, October 28.
