In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Pershing County Mustangs football squad scored a good 44-13 victory over the Elko Indians.
The Indians (4-2) will now prepare for their match against Spring Creek (Spring Creek, NV). The Spartans enter the match with a 5-4 record. In their last match, Spring Creek ran past Lowry (Winnemucca, NV), 20-6, in a non-league match.
