The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Penobscot Valley Howlers (Howland, ME) and the visiting Mattanawcook Lynx (Lincoln, ME), saw Penobscot Valley's soccer squad triumph over Mattanawcook by a count of 6-0.
The Howlers now hold a 13-2 record. They play next when they travel to Bangor Christian for a non-league test on Monday, October 17. Penobscot Valley will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Shead (Eastport, ME). The Patriots record now stands at 4-6.
With the loss, Mattanawcook drops to 6-6 on the season.
