Colorado High School Volleyball - Akron routed by Sedgwick County

The Akron Rams volleyball team (Akron, CO), was dropped 3-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host Sedgwick County Cougars (Julesburg, CO)

The Cougars (16-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Yuma (Yuma, CO). The Yuma enter the 2A/1A Lower Platte challenge with a 10-9 record. In their last challenge, Yuma defeated Wray (Wray, CO), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Rams meet the Wray Eagles (Wray, CO) in a 2A/1A Lower Platte challenge, on Tuesday, October 18. Akron will attempt to move on its 0-16 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 5-14 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Elbert (Elbert, CO).
