The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Animo Venice Pirates (Los Angeles, CA) and the visiting Animo Bunche Stallions (Los Angeles, CA), saw Animo Venice's volleyball squad beat Animo Bunche by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Animo Venice upgrades its record to 7-3 on the year. The Pirates travel to Larchmont Charter (West Hollywood, CA) to play the Timberwolves in a Ocean bout on Monday, October 17. The Timberwolves go into the bout with a record of 20-6. Larchmont Charter won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against University Pathways Medical Magnet (Los Angeles, CA)

The Stallions now own a 4-14 record.
