The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Tri-Valley Vikings (Downs, IL) and the visiting Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Falcons (Gibson City, IL), saw Tri-Valley's volleyball squad beat Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Tri-Valley upgrades its record to 24-1 on the year. The Vikings travel to Urbana (Urbana, IL) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 15. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 2-15. Urbana won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Peoria (Peoria, IL)

The Falcons now own a 4-22 record.
