The Maloney Spartans topped the visiting Plainville Blue Devils volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Friday's league test.
The Spartans now have a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bristol Central for a Central Connecticut - South test on Monday, October 17. Maloney will confront a Rams team coming off a 3-0 league win over Lewis Mills (Burlington, CT). The Rams record now stands at 11-4.
The Blue Devils (0-14) will now prepare for their test against Lewis Mills (Burlington, CT). The Spartans enter the Central Connecticut - South test with a 7-7 record. In their last test, Lewis Mills dropped by Bristol Central (Bristol, CT), 3-0, in a league test.
