In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the West Warwick Wizards.
The Mounties (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Coventry (Coventry, RI). The Oakers come into the State Championship Division - B battle with a 7-6 record. In their last battle, Coventry achieved victory over Classical (Providence, RI), 3-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Wizards encounter the North Kingstown Skippers (North Kingstown, RI) in a State Championship Division - A battle, on Monday, October 17. West Warwick will attempt to advance on its 3-9 season record. The Skippers come into the battle with a 12-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Cranston West (Cranston, RI).
