The The New Community School Sabers topped the visiting West End Christian Crusaders volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Friday's league test.
The Sabers now have a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Banner Christian for a non-league test on Friday, October 21.
The Crusaders (1-7) will now prepare for their test against Banner Christian (Chesterfield, VA). The enter the Virginia Colonial test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, Banner Christian was knocked off by Kenston Forest (Blackstone, VA), 3-0, in a league test.
