The Anderson Valley Panthers football team (Boonville, CA), was beaten 40-26 in Saturday's league challenge with the host Roseland University Prep Knights (Santa Rosa, CA)

The Knights (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Cornerstone Christian (Antioch, CA). The Cougars come into the North Central III (8 Man) challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Cornerstone Christian achieved victory over Round Valley (Covelo, CA), 50-13, in a league challenge.

The Panthers now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Swett for a North Central III (8 Man) challenge on Friday, October 20. Anderson Valley will meet a Warriors team coming off a 46-12 league win over Laytonville (Laytonville, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 3-4.
