California High School Football - Archbishop Riordan knocks off Archbishop Mitty

The crowd at Saturday's league contest between the Archbishop Riordan Crusaders (San Francisco, CA) and the visiting Archbishop Mitty Monarchs (San Jose, CA), observed Archbishop Riordan's football squad thwart Archbishop Mitty by a tally of 56-42.

The Crusaders now possess a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Serra for a West Catholic contest on Saturday, October 21. Archbishop Riordan will play a Padres squad coming off a 54-16 league win over Bellarmine College Prep (San Jose, CA). The Padres record now stands at 7-0.

Coming up next, the Monarchs play the Bellarmine College Prep Bells (San Jose, CA) in a West Catholic contest, on Friday, October 20. Archbishop Mitty will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record. The Bells go into the contest with a 1-6 record after their 54-16 league loss to Serra (San Mateo, CA).
