New York High School Football - Rye Neck gets by Edgemont

The Rye Neck Panthers football squad scored 19 points and restricted the visiting Edgemont Panthers to 12 in the Panthers league victory on Saturday.

The Panthers now possess a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Putnam Valley for a non-league battle on Friday, October 20. Rye Neck will play a Tigers squad coming off a 26-7 league win over Croton-Harmon (Croton on Hudson, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 4-2.

Coming up next, the Panthers play the Hendrick Hudson Sailors (Montrose, NY) in a Section 1 B battle, on Friday, October 20. Edgemont will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Sailors enter the battle with a 1-5 record after their 24-22 league loss to Nanuet (Nanuet, NY).
