The Friendly Patriots football team (Fort Washington, MD), was tipped 24-20 in Saturday's league challenge with the visiting Largo Lions (Upper Marlboro, MD)

The Lions (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Surrattsville (Clinton, MD). The Hornets come into the Prince George's County 2A/1A challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Surrattsville was tipped by Gwynn Park (Brandywine, MD), 47-6, in a league challenge.

The Patriots now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Douglass for a Prince George's County 2A/1A challenge on Saturday, October 21.
