The Monticello Panthers football team (Monticello, NY), was ripped 35-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Goshen Central Gladiators (Goshen, NY)
The Gladiators (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Cornwall Central (New Windsor, NY). The Dragons come into the Section 9 A-2 challenge with a 7-0 record. In their last challenge, Cornwall Central trounced Beacon (Beacon, NY), 21-0, in a non-league challenge.
The Panthers now sport a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host Valley Central for a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 21. Monticello will meet a Vikings team coming off a 35-23 league loss to Pine Bush (Pine Bush, NY). The Vikings record now stands at 1-5.
