The New Utrecht Utes football team (Brooklyn, NY), was tipped 26-20 in Saturday's league challenge with the visiting New Dorp Central Cougars (Staten Island, NY)

The Central Cougars (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Port Richmond (Staten Island, NY). The Raiders come into the PSAL AAAA challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Port Richmond nipped Bayside (Bayside, NY), 20-6, in a league challenge.

The Utes now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lincoln for a PSAL AAAA challenge on Friday, October 20. New Utrecht will meet a Railsplitters team coming off a 24-7 league loss to Erasmus Hall (Brooklyn, NY). The Railsplitters record now stands at 3-2.
