The Shenango Wildcats football squad scored 37 points and restricted the host Summit Academy Knights to 8 in the Wildcats league victory on Saturday.

The Wildcats now possess a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Leechburg for a non-league battle on Friday, October 20. Shenango will play a Blue Devils squad coming off a 29-28 league win over Riverview (Oakmont, PA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 5-3.

Coming up next, the Knights play the Laurel Spartan (New Castle, PA) in a WPIAL A Big 7 battle, on Friday, October 20. Summit Academy will attempt to advance on its 0-8 season record. The Spartan enter the battle with a 2-6 record after their 35-7 league loss to South Side (Hookstown, PA).
