Wheeling Park Patriots (Wheeling, WV) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles (Beckley, WV), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Patriots confront the Brooke Bruins (Wellsburg, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 17. Wheeling Park will attempt to better on its 13-3 season record. The Bruins enter the challenge with a 12-8 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Steubenville (Steubenville, OH).
The Flying Eagles now have a 9-10 record.
