The Holy Cross Knights (Flushing, NY) football edged the host St. John the Baptist Cougars (West Islip, NY), 18-14 in Saturday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Knights face the St. Peter's Eagles (Staten Island, NY) in a bout, on Saturday, October 21. Holy Cross will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 3-3 record after their 20-2 non-league loss to Cardinal Hayes (Bronx, NY).
