The Bishop McLaughlin Catholic Hurricanes volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Springstead Eagles to 0 in the Hurricanes non-league victory on Saturday.

The Hurricanes now have a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to River Ridge for a non-league game on Saturday, October 14. Bishop McLaughlin Catholic will meet a Royal Knights team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Anclote (Holiday, FL). The Royal Knights record now stands at 14-6.

The Eagles (9-16) will now prepare for their game against Pasco (Dade City, FL). The Pirates enter the non-league game with a 1-13 record.
