The Leland Chargers held off the host Santa Cruz Cardinals volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Chargers now have a 20-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Leigh for a test on Tuesday, October 17. Leland will confront a Longhorns team coming off a 2-0 league win over Prospect (Saratoga, CA). The Longhorns record now stands at 12-2.
