The Brewer Patriots held off the visiting Curry Yellowjackets volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Patriots now have a 18-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Madison Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 17. Brewer will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Randolph School (Huntsville, AL). The Mustangs record now stands at 33-17.
The Yellowjackets (30-16) will now prepare for their test against Central (Florence, AL). The Wildcats enter the non-league test with a 43-8 record. In their last test, Central was nudged by Muscle Shoals (Muscle Shoals, AL), 3-0, in a non-league test.
