West Virginia High School Volleyball - Capital over Sherman

October 14, 2023: Charleston, WV 25311

In Saturday's non-league contest, the Capital Cougars (Charleston, WV) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Sherman Tide (Seth, WV), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Cougars face the Cabell Midland Knights (Ona, WV) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 14. Capital will attempt to better on its 10-22 season record. The Knights go into the contest with a 19-7 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Boyd County (Ashland, KY).

With the loss, Sherman moves to 5-13 on the year. The Tide travel to Parkersburg (Parkersburg, WV) to face the Big Reds in a non-league contest on Saturday, October 14. The Big Reds go into the contest with a record of 12-14. Parkersburg lost 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV)
