The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Central Christian Tigers (Redmond, OR) and the visiting Mapleton Sailors (Mapleton, OR), saw Central Christian's volleyball squad beat Mapleton by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Central Christian upgrades its record to 14-9 on the year. The Tigers travel to Rogue Valley Adventist (Medford, OR) to play the Red Tail Hawks in a 1A Mountain Valley bout on Monday, October 16. The Red Tail Hawks go into the bout with a record of 7-8. Rogue Valley Adventist lost 3-2 in their recent league bout against Lost River (Merrill, OR)

The Sailors now own a 6-15 record.
