The Cardinals now possess a 5-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cardinal for a non-league game on Monday, October 16. Central Decatur will meet a Comets team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Davis County (Bloomfield, IA). The Comets record now stands at 7-17.

The Eagles (0-17) will now prepare for their game against Holy Trinity Catholic (Fort Madison, IA). The Crusaders enter the non-league game with a 25-9 record. In their last game, Holy Trinity Catholic was dropped by Knoxville (Knoxville, IA), 2-1, in a non-league game.
