The Illinois Valley Cougars volleyball team (Cave Junction, OR), was dropped 3-1 in Saturday's league challenge with the host Central Linn Cobras (Halsey, OR)

The Cobras (5-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Oakland (Oakland, OR). The Oakers enter the 2A Valley Coast challenge with a 11-9 record. In their last challenge, Oakland defeated Gold Beach (Gold Beach, OR), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the East Linn Christian Academy Eagles (Lebanon, OR) in a 2A Valley Coast challenge, on Saturday, October 14. Illinois Valley will attempt to advance on its 1-21 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 7-14 record after their 3-1 league loss to Monroe (Monroe, OR).
