The Mason City Mohawks volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Des Moines North Polar Bears to 0 in the Mohawks non-league victory on Saturday.
The Mohawks now have a 10-25 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Decorah-North Winneshiek for a non-league game on Tuesday, October 17. Mason City will confront a Vikings team coming off a 2-0 league loss to New Hampton (New Hampton, IA). The Vikings record now stands at 10-16.
The Polar Bears (0-14) will now prepare for their game against Waterloo East (Waterloo, IA). The Trojans enter the non-league game with a 5-23 record. In their last game, Waterloo East dropped by Waterloo Christian (Waterloo, IA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
