In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Notre Dame Regents volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Evergreen Valley Cougars.
The Regents (9-12) will now prepare for their battle against Palo Alto (Palo Alto, CA). The Vikings come into the non-league battle with a 20-3 record. In their last battle, Palo Alto defeated Cupertino (Cupertino, CA), 3-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Cougars encounter the Pioneer Mustangs (San Jose, CA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 14. Evergreen Valley will attempt to move on its 8-10 season record. The Mustangs come into the battle with a 12-7 record after their 3-1 league win over Silver Creek (San Jose, CA).
