The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Garber Dukes (Essexville, MI) and the host Saginaw Trojans (Saginaw, MI), saw Garber's volleyball squad beat Saginaw by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Garber upgrades its record to 28-9 on the year. The Dukes host Ogemaw Heights (West Branch, MI) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Monday, October 16. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 4-12.

The Trojans now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Mt. Pleasant for a Saginaw Valley bout on Tuesday, October 17. Saginaw will play a Oilers squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Dow (Midland, MI). The Oilers record now stands at 22-8.
